![]() In terms of rumours that have been floating around, this is a big one. Will it be balanced enough considering you’d be playing as Superman? Time will tell but I’m interested. It’s quite easy to envision so it wouldn’t surprise me too much if this turned out to be a reality. In the last few days, rumours have arisen suggesting we might get the long teased open-world Superman game from Rocksteady. I’m not talking about a simple trailer, I want gameplay and a release date dammit. It has been many years since it was announced so surely there should be something to display. ![]() Seriously, if we don’t see anything about it at this E3 I’m going to starting thinking it might not be happening. I know I’d be happy with more of the same. I’m not too sure what can be added or changed to improve things. I have a genuine soft spot for the Garden Warfare games, they are just such a blast. I’m hoping to see a gameplay trailer and a release date. The sequel has been announced but we haven’t seen anything about it since. ![]() Ori and the Blind Forest is one of my favourite games of this generation, it’s stunning and underrated. Sony & Nintendo will almost definitely have another solid outing but it is once again Microsoft who need to bring the big guns. However, I’m always more interested in seeing brand new IP. We’ll likely see further footage of games that have been in development for the last few years. This may change as there is still a couple of weeks to go. Surprisingly, there aren’t as many solid rumours floating around about potential reveals as there has been in previous years. We’ll most likely ‘see a glimpse of a small teaser trailer’ at E3 and won’t get more information until 2020.Another year, another E3 to get hyped about. The game is set to be a next-gen game and that it’s unlikely to retail until 2021 at the absolute earliest. According to the thread, NeoGAF member Braldryr can ‘confirm’ that the new game is indeed part of the Fable series.īraldryr says that while many have speculated that the new game is the long awaited Fable 4, ‘the reality is that a new beginning for the Fable franchise’. It’s been pretty much radio silence since, which brings us back to the present. However, they weren’t resurrecting Lionhead Studios (rest in peace, Lionhead) to do it – they had instead tasked Playground Games with it. In January 2018, Eurogamer reported that the Fable series was being revived by Microsoft. ![]() In February 2017, Playground Games announced that they were opening a second studio in order to focus on a ‘open-world’ project, a notable departure from their usual racing projects. If you’re out of the loop, here’s a catch up: Playground Games, the British videogame developer most well known for developing the Forza Horizon series, was acquired by Microsoft and became part of Xbox Game Studios back in 2018. Now, according to a NeoGAF thread full of potential leaks about future Microsoft announcements, the game is apparently finally set to have an official announcement. Rumours of a new Fable game are an open secret at this point, with the game being all but officially confirmed since early 2018.
